A Conway man was arrested last week on multiple counts of child pornography after investigators with the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at Shiloh Creek Estates subdivision.
Charles McGee, 35, was arrested without incident at his residence at 310 Shenandoah Drive around 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
The warrant was the culmination of a four-month investigation targeting possessing and distributing child pornography.
While at the residence, FCSO investigators conducted an on-scene forensic analysis of McGee’s personal laptop computer, revealing the “positive presence of child pornography,” according to sheriff’s Maj. Andy Shock.
Investigators also discovered a small amount of green leafy substance believed to be marijuana located inside the residence.
McGee was transported to the Faulkner County Detention Center and was charged with four counts of child pornography and possession of a controlled substance.
Shock said McGee admitted that he was guilty of possessing child pornography in an interview on Monday morning.
McGee is awaiting a first appearance. No bond has been set.
