Conway Fire Department and Medflight responded to an accident at Central Baptist College Thursday morning, where a man reportedly fell from a third story window on the campus.
CBC spokeswoman Deanna Ott released few additional details, confirming that the accident occurred at Williams Hall, a boys dormitory on the campus. Ott said there were no witnesses to the incident.
Ott confirmed just before noon that the incident was an accident and involved a student worker in the maitenance department.
The university released the following statement just before 3 p.m.:
"Tyler Dixon, a student worker in the maintenance department, was involved in an accident earlier this morning while working on the exterior of the 3rd floor at Williams Hall. He was flown to a hospital in Little Rock and is currently stable and alert. He has no internal injuries and will be kept at the hospital for observation for at least two days."
Dixon, of Conway, is 24 years old.
