The Log Cabin's media partners at KATV have posted a weather update. Reports coming in that there is light snow in some parts of Conway.

A weak disturbance will bring a wintry mix of precipitation to Arkansas today. We expect light freezing rain and sleet across southern Arkansas and that could lead to some icing problems with minor accumulations of ice on elevated roadways. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for south and southeast Arkansas and an Ice Storm Warning is in effect for extreme SE Arkansas through this afternoon. Some power outages could be seen as ice accumulates on power lines in that far southeastern corner of our state. Remember, however, even a little ice accumulation in south and east Arkansas could make travel hazardous.

For the rest of the state, we'll see brief periods of very light sleet or snow. At this time, we are not anticipating any appreciable accumulation at all.

This round of winter weather should taper off in the late afternoon hours. Another wave of moisture could bring some precipitation chances Tuesday and another disturbance on Thursday.  We'll keep you updated.
