The Conway City Council will meet Monday night at 5:30 in a special committee meeting to discuss the redevelopment and acquisition of Cantrell Field and the new Conway Municipal Airport.
Conway Chief of Staff Jack Bell said that the airport advisory committee has been invited to come in order to be available for questions from the council about the new airport.
The meeting will be used to bring council up to date on both airport projects.
Bids for the old airport are due to the city July 12. Money from that sale will go toward the new airport.
Bids are also open on the terminal building for the new airport. Bell said they are waiting to award that bid until they find out how much the bids are for the old airport property.
