GREENBRIER — The Greenbrier School Board welcomed newly elected Jeremy Riddle and elected the following Board members to new offices: Carla Fix, president; Greg Oaks, vice-president and Randy Goodnight, secretary.

Payouts to Nabholz Construction Company were approved for all the building construction that is complete:  $15,385 for the high school Media Center remodel and $249,422 for the 10 classroom addition at the high school.  $116,281 was approved for the new tennis courts which are now in the curing phase of asphalt that will be applied this week. Then the blue/white stripes go on, the nets go up and wind screens go up last.  With seeding and landscaping, completion is expected within the next two to three weeks.

Deputy Superintendent Dr. Lisa Todd presented an instructional update that Greenbrier will participate in as a pilot assessment. She also said the new keyboard software will be implemented in the elementary schools this month. For more information go to the District’s web site at
