The University of Central Arkansas Feminist Union and Office of Diversity and Community are hosting a Take Back the Night rally and march on Oct. 30.
The rally will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Student Amphitheater and the march will immediately follow. Take Back the Night is a movement that aims to raise awareness about sexual assault and lift the voices of survivors.
"Our goal is to raise awareness and create a positive dialogue to build safer spaces for survivors and put an end to rape culture and victim blaming, said Greer Williams, co-president of the Feminist Union. "Though it is on UCA campus, it is for anyone and everyone wanting to be a part of it. We’re excited to see you there."
