The Conway Police Department is investigating gunfire near the Marguerite Vann Elementary School that struck a nearby home. No one was hurt.

According to a CPD incident report, a resident near the school reported hearing what sounded like five gunshots at around 7:20 Monday evening. One bullet apparently hit this resident’s home, breaking a glass door and denting the solid door behind it. Officers collected what is described in the report as "a small bullet from a firearm" amid the broken glass. Police searched the area for evidence such as shell casings or other damage and found nothing, according to the report.

The school has video cameras that may have captured any vehicles driving near the school at the time the shots were reported. Check back for any updates.
