A mobile home burned overnight at 177 Highway 286 East, officials said.

The home is a total loss, according to Highway 286 Volunteer Fire Department Chief Rodney Sanders.

The department responded just before midnight, Sanders said, and fought the blaze for almost five hours.

Sanders said Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith and family were occupants, and no one was injured.

He said the family was outside the home when crews arrived.

Sanders said the department hasn’t yet investigated the cause of the fire, but firefighters were able to contain the fire in an attic-type space between the double-wide mobile home’s ceiling and roof.

Liberty Volunteer Fire Department also responded, and Conway Fire Department provided assistance.
