The 19th annual bowling fundraiser to benefit Conway Human Development Center is Friday, March 7, the center announced.

From 3 to 5 p.m. at Conway Family Bowl, teams and individuals are invited to play with proceeds going to CHDC’s residents.

Bowlers of all ages are invited to participate, and teams consist of four bowlers per lane.

The entry fee for the event is $50 per person or $200 for a team of four.

Individual bowlers who raise more than $300 are eligible to win grand prizes, which include an iPad Mini, a TV, digital camera, a $200 Visa gift card, and a $100 Walmart gift card.

The entry fee includes two hours of bowling, the shoe rental, a T-shirt, refreshments and entry for door prizes.

Organizers said to form teams, come up with a fun name, and go out and get sponsors.

The CHDC is the largest of the six state residential facilities for people with developmental disabilities. The center serves 484 people, offering services from nursing care to social skills, academics, and work training.
