Angela Hill, Faulkner County Assessor, will be seeking re-election to a second term as assessor.
Hill has worked for the Faulkner County Assessor’s office for 26 years, with 20 years as chief deputy assessor. She has been qualified as a level four senior appraiser by the State of Arkansas since 1990; was in charge of organizing the GIS Department for the office; is a member of IAAO, the Arkansas Assessor’s Association, and serves as secretary for the Nursing Home Gift Fund of Faulkner County, Inc.
"The biggest change, during my first term as assessor, has been implementing online assessing of personal property," she said. "Hopefully the option to assess online will make it easier for many to get their assessment completed before the May 31 deadline. I hope the voters will give me an opportunity to continue to serve as Faulkner County Assessor, using my years of experience to keep the office moving forward to better serve the citizens of Faulkner County. As the laws of the State of Arkansas change I will make upgrades where necessary in the most effective and affordable way possible. I will be open to public input and questions and will strive to ensure that the office operates in a professional and friendly manner."
Angela Hill and her husband of 27 years, Jimmy, have two daughters, Ashlie and Amber, She is a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church.
