Raymon Lee Hegi, 82, of Conway died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at Conway Regional Health System.
He was born May 29, 1928 in Conway, a son of the late Willie James and Wilma Nancy (Sellers) Hegi.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Ruth Hegi, who died June 11, 2010.
Mr. Hegi was the retired former owner of Raymon Hegi Shoe Repair for more than 40 years in Conway.
He was a member of Pickles Gap Baptist Church. His parents were founding members of the church. He was a substitute school bus driver.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda O’Dell and husband SSgt. Stephen Teaster of Winslow; two grandchildren, Sharon Teaster of Idaho and David Teaster of Conway; a number of cousins and many friends.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from noon until service time.
