Irene Bernick, 77, of Conway passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Kilgore, Neb., to the late Loren Drinkwalter and Esther Coleman Drinkwalter. She was a homemaker and the widow of Richard Bernick.
She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Bernick of Vilonia and Donna Mahan and husband Leo of Lawton, Okla.; two sons, David Bernick and wife Carole of San Tan Valley, Ariz., and Eugene Bernick and wife Ann Marie of Ocean Springs, Miss.; six sisters, Dorothy Sharp of Hot Springs, S.D., Mary Lou Thornton of Thermopolis, Wyo., Alma Lea Keller of Fort Collins, Colo., Delma Fischer of Maywood, Neb., Betty Boykin of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Charlotte Edwards of Seward, Neb.; three brothers, James Drinkwalter of Valentine, Neb., George Drinkwalter of Cody, Neb., and Bill Drinkwalter of Hot Springs, S.D.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister Lois Keim.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt funeral home in Conway with burial in Crestlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Teri Daily and the Rev. Gary Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
