Mrs. Beulah Vernice (Webb) Archibald, 94, of Conway died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Conway Regional Health Systems. She was born Oct. 7, 1915, in Atkins, a daughter of the late Woodford C. and Olive E. (Grinstead) Webb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James T. Archibald; daughters, Jimmie and Phyliss Archibald; two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Archibald was a homemaker, a wonderful mother and grandmother and was a member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ at Vilonia.
Survivors are her children, Jo Ann Jenkins and husband David of Millington, Tenn., Ted Archibald and wife Rita of Benton, Rebecca Martin and husband Thomas of Vilonia, Debra McElroy and husband Steve of Lonoke; grandchildren, Leigh Ann, Kristie, Lorie, Scott, Allyson, Karen, Michael and a step-granddaughter, Rachael. Also surviving her are 12 great-grandchildren, one great great-granddaughter; brothers, Berlin Webb of Mountain Home, T.J. Webb of Sheridan, Brooks Webb of Olive Branch, Miss.; a number of nephews and nieces; and a special friend, Dusty Richards.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, with Thomas Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery in England, Ark., under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway. 501-327-7727.
