Franklin Dewitt Glover

Franklin Dewitt Glover, 86, of Greenbrier, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, in Conway.

He was born July 5, 1924, in Greenbrier, to the late George W. Glover and Pearl Dickens Glover.

He was a retired concrete finisher for Nabholz Construction, a member of Springhill Baptist Church and a Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Iva Jean Shaw Glover; six children, Ronnie Glover and Sandra of Greenbrier, JoAnn Moreland and Jim of Conway, Connie McGinty and Perry of Greenbrier, Tommy Glover and Faye of Conway, Jerry Glover and Connie Gail of Greenbrier and Tracey Bruich and Bryan of Conway; stepbrother, Raymond Brown of Conway; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by stepmother, Lena Brown Glover; and stepbrother, Kenneth Brown.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Greenbrier with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Bro. Gaylon King and Bro. Ed Stevenson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Mickey Glover, Bart Rash, Jon McGinty, Shane Glover, Tracy Griggs, Richard Jones and Darren Browers.
