Shelia Ann "Tater" Brantley, 50, of Mount Vernon went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010 at Conway Regional Health System surrounded by her family and friends. Shelia was born Wednesday, Sept. 21, 1960 in Little Rock to Robert Ussery and the late Lucille (Hill) Ussery.
She was a loving mother, nana, sister and daughter. She was proud of her grandchildren and would spend her last dollar on them. She enjoyed cooking big family dinners. She was a very gracious lady, who gave her all to whomever was in need. Everyone around her was treated as one of her own.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Scott Alexander of Mount Vernon; two daughters, Jennifer Winberry (Shawn) of Mount Vernon and Jessica Church (Nathan) of Jerusalem; son, Chris Brantley (Cortney Brister) of Mount Vernon; six grandchildren, Karly Winberry of Mount Vernon, Courtney Winberry of Alaska, Makayla Shelton, Ashlynn Church, and Cameron Church all of Jerusalem, and Alivia Brantley of Mount Vernon; father, Robert Ussery of Conway; two brothers, Donnie Ussery (Bonnie) of Mount Vernon, and Ronnie Ussery (Beverly) of Enola; sister, Sherry Miller (Jimmy) of Conway; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Brother Mike Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Mount Vernon with her nephews, Robby Ussery, Ricky Ussery, Randy Ussery, Scott Ussery, Zane Ussery, Justin Miller and Chad Spears, serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday,.
