Billy Joe Washington, 64, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Feb., 18, 2011, at Little Rock.

He was born Aug. 31, 1946, in Little Rock.

He was an Instructor at Red River Army Depot.    

He attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He was a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, deacon, president of brotherhood, Sunday school teacher, B.C. Green Male Chorus, sanctuary choir, Mason, retired from Armed Services.

Survivors are his wife, Flavia Washington of Texarkana, Texas; son, Kyrian Washington of Woodridge, Va.; daughter, Kahnn Morrow of Houston, Texas; stepchildren, Pamela Thompson of Texarkana, Texas, and DeWayne Thompson of Little Rock; brother, Danny Moore of Lockport, La.; sisters, Elaine Sullivan of Plumerville and Veletta Cummings of Conway; special mother, Letha Blackwell of Texarkana, Texas; special aunt, Ruth Blackwell of Texarkana, Texas; and six grandchildren.  

Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, with pastor T.J. Roberson officiating.  

Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
