Denzil Max Yarbrough
Denzil Max Yarbrough, Sr., 83, of Cabot, passed away Friday, Dec. 21, 2012. Born in Naylor, Ark. on July 4, 1929. He was a son of the late Landon Vernon and Myrtle Pearl (Vaden) Yarbrough.
Yarbrough was a carpenter by trade and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot where he served as Trustee.
He was preceded in death by his previously mentioned parents; brothers, Raydeen Poole, Vincent Yarbrough, C.B. Yarbrough, Vaden Yarbrough; one sister, Richadeen Arnett; a son, Denny, Jr. and a grandson, Shannon Max Yarbrough.
Yarbrough is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Thelma Gean Rickett Yarbrough; son, Terry Yarbrough (Trace); daughter, Jane Powell (Richard); stepsons, Jim Hall (Susan) and Alvis Hall (Faymarie); a step-daughter, Linda McCrosky (Mike), daughter-in-law, Lynda Yarbrough; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot with Pastor Terry Fortner and Bro. Dick Avry officiating. Interment will follow at Beryl Cemetery in Vilonia. Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. 501-327-7727
