Ten gymnasts from Sonshine Academy in Conway either won or placed in the top three in individual events or the all-around in their level and age group in a recent meet at Springfield, Mo.

In the Level 4 team division, Michael Frost placed third on the rings and second on the floor and parallel bars. Josh Barbee placed third on the floor and in the all-around, second on the rings; and first on the parallel bars. Colton Ray placed second on the high bar. John Sutton placed third on the pommel horse, second on the vault, and first on the high bar. The Level 4 boys were fifth.

In the Level 5 division, Blake Hopkins placed third on the vault, second on the rings and in the all-around, and first on the pommel horse. Jay Krisle placed third on the rings and high bar, second on the pommel horse, vault, and in the all-around and first on the floor. Haden Ray placed third on the rings and vault, second on the pommel horse and in the all-around and first on the parallel bars. The Level 5 boys took home fourth place in the team competition.

Josh Farewell was the only Level 6 gymnast from Sonshine and placed second on the rings.

In Level 8, Michael Rickles placed second on the floor, rings, vault and in the all-around and first on the parallel bars. Jake Fisher placed second on the pommel horse and high bar and first on the floor, rings, vault, and in the all-round.
