After being two-hit in a 12-0 loss in the first game, the Hendrix baseball team came back for a 6-2 victory to split a doubleheader against Berry on Friday at Mount Berry, Ga.

Will Nichol threw a four-hitter the second game.

Drew Judson was 2 for 3 with two runs. Jorge Leon had a hit and scored two runs. Wyatt Hogan and Tanner Cooper had two hits each.

Hendrix upped its record to 8-9, 3-2 in the Southern Athletic Association.

TJ Montgomery threw the two-hitter in the first game for Berry (15-5, 3-2)


At Sewanee, Tenn., Friday, the Hendrix softball team used a 10-hit attack for an 11-0 victory over Sewanee.

Morgan Maida was 3 for 4 for the Warriors. Victoria Hughes was 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBI.

Emily Stockalpar was the winner for the Warriors.
