Conway’s Lady Cats took a four-set victory over Bryant, 27-25, 25-9, 22-25, 25-10, Thursday night in volleyball at Bryant.

Anna Lee Drennan led the Lady Cats (17-4, 6-1) with 21 kills and 10 digs. Aryn Blemenberg had 40 assists and three aces. Megan Solberg had 18 digs.

Conway won the JV game, 25-14, 25-8 to go to 10-0, 7-0.

Mackenzie McMahan had five kills. Matti Fairchild added three aces and four digs. Karli Ferguson had one block.

Conway will try to avenge its only conference loss when it hosts Fort Smith Southside on Tuesday.

Conway Christian volleyball

Conway Christian took at 16-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-19 victory over Atkins on Thursday to go to 10-1 on the season.

Madelyn Black had seven acees. Katie Dather added 20 kills.Adrianna Ferrand led the team with one block.

The Eagles’ next game is Tuesday against Central Arkansas Christian.

UCA volleyball

At Thibodaux, La,, the University of Central Arkansas volleyball team (7-7, 1-1) opened A Southland Conference road trip with a 25-16, 25-19, 26-28, 25-20 victory over Nicholls (4-12. 0-1).

Samantha Armstrong set a season-high with 48 assists to lead a Central Arkansas attack that got double-digit kills from three different players. Hailey Tippett lead the way with her sixth double-double of the season, gathering a match-high 18 kills and adding 17 digs, while Megan Nash hit .414 on her way to 15 kills and a match-high eight blocks. Anderson rounded out the trio, tallying 14 kills and three blocks. Sophomore Amanda Dimon had a match-high 23 attacks, while freshman Rayna Jefferis collected 13 digs.

The Sugar Bears return to action on Saturday, traveling to Lake Charles, La., to take on the McNeese State Cowgirls. The match is set to begin at 12:30 p.m.
