Hendrix's women took over sole possession of second place in the Southern Athletic Association on Friday with a 62-45 victory over Centre at Danville, Ky.
The Warriors (13-5, 5-2) are a game behind Oglethorpe. They have won three games in a row and six of their last seven.
"There was great effort tonight," said coach Drew Gaeng. "Especially on the glass. We did an awesome job of maintaining that effort and execution throughout the game."

Madison Martin led with 24 points and nine rebounds. Vinessa Daniel recorded 14 points and Leah Smith contributed 1 points .. Heather Prowse dished out six assists in the win.
Things weren't so rosy for the men. Last week, Centre dominated the Warriors, 98-75 at Grove Gymnasium.
Friday, the Tigers (11-7, 6-2) were even more dominating in a 108-48 romp. Preston Smith had nine points for the Warriiors (4-15, 2-6).
Hendrix teams travel to Tennessee on Sunday to play Sewanee.
At Beebe on Friday, the Greenbrier boys continued their hot streak with a 58-53 victory over Beebe.
The Panthers stretched their mark to 16-7.
Beebe won the girls game, 63-30.
Hannah Donham and Breliegh Simmons each had eight points for the Lady Panthers.
At Vilonia on Friday, the Lady Eagles (19-3) defeated Morrilton (14-8), 53-44.
Paige Kelly led the Lady Eagles with 17 points. Laney Mears added 15 and Lauren Patterson 10.
Conway Christian's senior girls romped past Nemo Vista on Thursday, 52-35.
Lauren Kinley led the Lady Eagles with 18 points and Stormy Stacks scored 17 points.
