Downtown Conway

Downtown Conway will soon be home to new restaurants, including and ice cream shop and the largest independently owned pet store in the state of Arkansas.

Katmandu MOMO

The first restaurant is Katmandu MOMO.

Katmandu started as a food truck, but will transition to a brick-and-mortar store.

Katmandu opened in the River Market Hall in 2014, and now the owners have leased the building at 1018 Oak Street.

They are in the final stages of transforming the building into a cafe.

Katmandu will bring a taste of Nepal to downtown Conway.

Las Delicias

Las Delicias Ice Cream Shop will also make its way to downtown Conway.

The original location on the north side of town will remain while supplying the downtown location with all the treats that are offered.

Las Delicias creates handmade ice cream, fruit ice bars, fruit caps and Hispanic gourmet snacks.

Las Delicias will be located at 1120 Oak Street, next to Edward Jones.

Poke Hula

Poke Hula will also be opening in downtown Conway in the coming weeks.

Poke Hula will be located in the historic Halter building at 1115 Oak St., formerly Fletcher Smith Jewelry.

Poke Hula is a Hawaiian snack, which is diced, marinated ahi tuna salad. It is pronounced ‘po-kay.’

Neighborhood Pet Shoppe

Neighborhood Pet Shoppe will be the largest independently owned and operated full-service pet store in Arkansas when it opens its doors in downtown Conway in a few weeks.

One exciting feature that Neighborhood Pet Shoppe will offer is birthday rooms for girls, boy and pets.

Plus, they will offer a self-wash station for your pet.

The same people who have owned and operated Safari Pets in Cabot, which celebrates its 17th anniversary April 14, bring Neighborhood Pet Shoppe to Conway.

Bella Rustina

The Bella Rustina Modern Vintage Market will take place April 21 through 22 inside the Conway Expo Center.

The event starts at 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 21 and will open at noon through 5 p.m. through Sunday.

There will be 200-plus booths of antiques, vintage and vintage-inspired handmade items will be on display.
