Gordon, who played third and short in high school, was a two-time all-state and all-conference selection at Beebe and was the Arkansas All-Star Most Valuable Player in 2017.
She also played two years of high school softball in Mississippi at Northwest Rankin High, where she was selected as the offensive and defensive MVP during her sophomore season.

She played softball at Pottsville High School and was a four-time all-conference selection and won MVP three times, was a gold glove award recipient three times and was selected to the all-state team three times as well as being on the Dean's List at Tech last year.
