Following a rain-filled Thursday that left Ferrum, Virginia flooded, the Warriors had to wait until Friday morning for the showdown against the Ferrum Panthers. Ferrum capitalized on its field position. The Panthers recorded a goal in each half to defeat the Warriors, 2-1.

Senior Alexis Truitt logged four saves in 70 minutes of action.

Conway volleyball keeps rolling
The Conway Lady Cats (25-6-1, 11-2 6A Central) keep rolling in 6A Central competition, beating Mt. St. Mary’s in straight sets 25-15, 25-8, 25-23.
Karli Ferguson led with 14 kills, while Madison Bates recorded a game-high 28 assists.
Matti Fairchild finished with six aces and 14 digs, while Emma Begley finished with two blocks.
The Lady Cats will host Bryant on Tuesday for senior night and then Jonesboro on Thursday for Pink Night.
In Greenbrier, the Lady Panthers (24-5-1, 9-3 5A West) beat the Russellville Cyclones in straight sets 27-25, 25-16, 25-14.
Greenbrier will hit the road Tuesday to northwest Arkansas to face Siloam Springs.
Vilonia falls in straight sets
The Vilonia Lady Eagles (3-18-1, 1-11 5A West) struggled again, losing to the Beebe Badgers in straight sets 25-20, 25-17, 25-14.
Vilonia will host Alma on Tuesday.
Mayflower comes up short in five sets
The Mayflower Eagles (10-15, 7-5 5-3A) pushed the Riverview Raiders to five sets, taking the first set 25-14, falling in the second and third sets 25-23, 25-19.
With their backs against the wall, the Eagles battled in the fourth set 25-20, tying the match at 2-2.
Trying to win the final set, Mayflower came up short, losing the final set 15-13.
Conway Christian sweeps Quest Academy
The Conway Christian Lady Eagles (10-7, 7-3 5-2A North) were dominant in their match against Quest Academy 25-11, 25-5, 25-5.
Maumelle Charter no match for St. Joseph
The St. Joseph Lady Bulldogs (20-4-3, 10-0 5-2A North) knocked off the Maumelle Charter Flacons in the final home game of the regular season.
St. Joseph is hosting the district tournament next week.
