Competing at the University of Central Arkansas for the second time this season, Central Baptist College took to the track Saturday for the UCA Open.

In their first scored meet of the season, the men's team finished fourth and the women's team finished eighth.

Individual top performers for CBC were Cody McKnight, Tajnae Barnes on the men's side and Ally Swaim on the women's side.

McKnight won the 400-meter event for the fourth straight week, this time posting a 49.18, but still beating the rest of the field by over one second.

Barnes finished second in the high jump with a mark of 1.7 meters.

Swaim finished third in the 100-meter hurdles, posting a time of 15.45, all of which were posted in torrential rains and wind.

The Mustangs will compete for the final time before the American Midwest Conference championship next week in Jonesboro at the Red Wolves Open.
