LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its 2019 NCAA Division III All-Region Teams on Wednesday and Hendrix sophomore outfielder Jaydan Hunt was named to the Atlantic Region Second-Team.

Hunt, a native of Denison, Texas, batted a team-best .444 on the season with team high's of 42 hits, 48 hits, eight triples, seven home runs and 36 RBI, while tallying a .852 slugging percentage.

Hunt recorded 16 multi-hit performances at the plate in 36 games on the 2019 season, while also registering three games with at least three hits and five games with at least three RBI.

Hunt earned SAA Player of the Week honors twice during the regular season and also was awarded All-SAA First-Team honors after a stellar sophomore campaign.

As in the past, the squad is comprised of three 15-player teams — plus voting ties — in each of the country's eight NCAA regions.

All-region players are nominated and selected by NFCA member coaches in each of the eight Division III regions.

First-team all-region choices are eligible for selection to the NFCA All-America team, which will be announced the evening of May 22 online at NFCA.org and in person at the NCAA Division III Championship banquet in Tyler, Texas.
