Natural State Baseball announced their All-Arkansas baseball selections for the 2019 season last Tuesday and four Mustangs were selected.
Austin Kuchinski, Trae Bobo, Baker Wilson and Jay French were all chosen as representatives of Central Baptist College.
Kuchinski was selected to the All-Arkansas team and batted .349 this season with 12 doubles, nine home runs and 49 RBI, while breaking CBC’s tying eight program records during the season and becoming the first Mustang ever to earn four straight first-team All-AMC selections.
Bobo, the second All-Arkansas team selection, led the entire state in home runs with 22 and led CBC in home runs, batting average (.351) and RBI (52) during the season becoming just the second Mustang ever to finish a season with 20 or more home runs.
Bobo signed with the Utica Unicorns of the USPBL last week and was a first-team All-AMC selection.
Wilson, an honorable mention selection, batted .306 with 10 home runs and 28 RBI this season and was both a Google Cloud/CoSIDA Academic All-District and Academic All-America.
French, an honorable mention selection, earned second team and gold glove recognition from the AMC after finishing the season leading the team in doubles with 13 while batting .329 with five home runs and 27 RBI.
