Central Baptist College golf coach Lyle Middleton has announced an addition to his recruiting class of 2020.

Archie Palmer, from the United Kingdom, will join the Mustangs in the fall.

Palmer, from Stalybridge, England, has played competitive golf in the UK since 2013.

He competed for Cheshire Union Juniors from the ages of 13-15 and for the boys first team from 16 until signing with CBC.

He was the under-14 champion in 2014 and finished second in the under-16 division in 2015.

He was the champion of the Bramhall Golf Club at the age of 17 and finished second in the North of England Golf Championship in 2015.

He was the Lancashire Schools Champion in 2015 and represented Lancashire at the National Championships in 2015-16.

CBC baseball coach Aaron Brister has announced the addition of a 28th member to his 2020 recruiting class.

Courtland McDonald becomes the newest Mustang to join the squad this fall.

McDonald, from Jacksonville, played in 25 games last season for Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, batting .329 with 17 runs scored, seven doubles, three triples, four home runs, 13 RBI, four steals and a .686 slugging percentage.
