Three players scored a pair of goals each for the Hendrix College women’s soccer team en route to a 6-0 victory over Arkansas Rush at Warrior Field on Tuesday night.
Juniors Rebecca Rahn and Mel Roach and senior Hannah McGrew each found the net twice in the Warriors’ final exhibition game before opening the season Friday at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.
Rahn, from Little Rock, scored the first two goals of the game in the third and 16th minutes, respectively. Roach, a Russellville native, scored in the 19th minute and on a pass from junior Morgan Scott in the 73rd minute. Senior captain Hannah McGrew blasted a shot in the 38th minute and scored on a pass from Rahn again in the 44th minute.
Senior Allison Mosley recorded two saves and junior Megan Childress had one.
The Warriors outshot the Rush 19-8.
