In their special "Dig for a Cure" game for breast cancer awareness, the University of Central volleyball team rallied from two sets down to defeat Oral Roberts on Saturday at the Prince Center, 3-2.

The Sugar Bears (20-2, 8-1 SLC) hit .214 for the match, highlighted by a .367 percentage in the third set. Alicia Dittrich led the way, hitting .500 on her way to a team leading 16 kills. She also turned in seven digs and two blocks. Four other Sugar Bears collected double-digit kills, with Jessica Hays and Scout Brooks each tallying 15, Taylor Hammonds chipping in 12, and Jessica Nagy collecting 10. Hays added 12 digs, five aces, four blocks, and two assists. Marissa Collins added 62 assists.

Oral Roberts (8-12, 4-5 SLC) hit .247 for the match.

The Sugar Bears return to action Thursday night, traveling to Nicholls State. They then travel to Hammond, La., to battle Southeastern Louisiana.
