Sewanee's Leo Born hit a 3-pointer and two free throws in the final 18.5 of overtime Sunday in leading the Tigers to a 73-69 victory in the regular-season finale Sunday for the two men's teams at Grove Gymnasium.

After Jaren Riley hit two free throws to give the Warriors a 69-68 lead with 1:29 left, he missed a pullup in the lane with 35 seconds left. The Tigers (18-4, 11-2) worked the ball around and Born got his feet set and swished the shot from the left key.

Luke Vance misfired from inside for the Warriors (8-17, 3-11)  and Born clinched the victory with the two free throws with four seconds left.

The Tigers had a 63-60 lead in the final minute of regulation before Riley stole the ball and drew the foul on the layup, completing a three-point play to tie the game with 35 seconds left.

Sewanee's Keshonn Carter missed an inside shot at the buzzer to force overtime.

Hendrix will go into the Southern Athletic Association tournament this weekend as the sixth seed. The Warriors will play Birmingham-Southern in the first-round game at Centre College in Danville, Ky. The men's and women's tournaments will be a different sites, hosted by the regular-season champions.

Riley, playing his final game on Garrison Court, led Hendrix with 23 oints. Colton Primm added 14.

Born led the Tigers with 14 points.
