STILLWATER, Okla. — Coming off the heels of being swept in three games over the weekend by Oral Roberts, the University of Central Arkansas baseball team pounded a ranked team from Oklahoma on Tuesday night.

UCA used 19 hits (the most since May of 2010) to rout 18-ranked Oklahoma State 11-3. The Bears (19-6) are now 3-2 against nationally ranked teams this season (including two victories over Mississippi State).

The Cowboys fell to 19-5.

 Central Arkansas,lefty Zach Barr worked one inning, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk. Then, the Bears turned to Clint Green (2-1) in the second inning, and he tossed  seven innings of one hit, one run relief, striking out four and retiring 21 of 24 batters. Griffin Glaude worked the final frame for the Bears, striking out one

OSU used seven pitchers.

The Bears return to Southland Conference play this weekend with a three-game series at home against Lamar. The teams will not play on Easter Sunday. Games are at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday.
