ATLANTA — Hendrix College placed 57 student-athletes on the Southern Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll for the 2012 fall term.

To qualify, an athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

The Warrior men’s soccer team had the most on the honor roll with 16. They were followed by the women’s soccer team with 12, volleyball with 11, field hockey with nine, men’s cross country with five and women’s cross country with four.

Women’s Cross Country (4): Leah Bishop, Nicholle Cromwell, Stephanie Davenport, Haley Stratton.

Field Hockey (9) – Lindsay Chott, Mary Julia Emanuel, Morgan Fires, Erika Jasso, Lotte Kraaijenbrink, Elizabeth Lancaster, Kelly Rappe’, Abby Shea, Lauren Shklanko.
