The Conway Lady Cats opened their basketball season Tuesday with a 65-39 romp over Fayetteville at Buzz Bolding Arena.

Conway took command of the game by outscored the Lady Bulldogs, 16-4, in the second quarter.

Jordan Danberry scored 23 points for Conway. Christin Rogers added 18 and Alexis Tolefree 10.

“It was good to get the first game under our belt," said coach Ashley Nance. “We saw a lot of things we need to practice on but we also saw some things we are proud of. I was pleased with our effort tonight.”
