FAYETTEVILLE -- A University of Central Arkansas Sugar Bear recruit and two Faulkner County players had outstanding performances in Arkansas High School Coaches Association Basketball games Thursday at the University of Arkansas' Bud Walton Arena.

Megan Hebert of Shiloh Christian, a Sugar Bear recruit, scored 15 points in the West girls 80-65 victory and was named Player of the Game.

Amanda Curtis of Vilonia scored three points and helped guide the West at point guard. An assistant on the West team was Vilonia girls coach Alvin Riley.

Jarvis Garner of Conway scored 18 points for the East in the West's 101-88 victory in the boys game.

In a boys soccer game earlier in the week. Conway's Taylor Hart scored the only goal for the East in a 2-1 loss to the West.
