Above: In what’s being called “A generational snow storm,” winter weather began entering the state last week, with snow beginning on Sunday through Monday. Additional snow, and bitter cold, is expected for the remainder of the week, a rarely-seen amount of winter weather for Arkansas. Caution is encouraged on roads, and utility companies are concerned that rolling blackouts may become necessary due to high power use throughout the region. Here is Highway 65 Sunday. The snow continued for hours after this picture was taken.
